pogoMD for your iPhone
What it is...
A state of the art plug-in connector that provides you with patient data on your iPhone, anytime, anywhere!
Works with any EMR that has an ODBC-compliant database!
How it works...
1. Register and create an account with us. This generates your own unique private key file and
server certificate for encrypting the data you send to us using
trusted SSL standards.
2. Download the listener software to your local
network, and follow the simple instructions to install it.
You will need to know the password of your database and
have basic familiarity with how your database stores the data we
will be showing.
a. You may need to know the table of your master
patient demographics, as well as the name of the field used to
index it, unless we have that information already for your
specific EMR.
b. You will have to know how to configure ODBC or your database connection, since this includes your database’s name, along with the username and password used to access it. We can help you guess it if you’re not sure.
3. Run the application!! We recommend running the application from a server computer (administrator account), preferably the one that also has the database server to avoid permission issues.
a. You’ll need your username and password, as well as your SSL “PEM pass phrase” created at signup.
b. The listener application will remain open on your server’s desktop, waiting for a secure connection from your iPhone!
Now, from anywhere, on your iPhone, you navigate to:
https://login.pogomd.com Use the username and password you created in step 1 to log in. You will be presented with a simple search input, but don’t be deceived! Type the first few letters of a last name, or the medical record number will start your search – in minutes, you’ve put your patients on your iPhone!
